have acne and I was wondering does cocoa butter actually work to get rid of acne. I like to use natural products on my face and back so are there also any products that really work to treat acne. I recommend you first find out what type of skin you have for example: oily, dry, sensitive. Then based on that follow the cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing routine every morning and night. You can get some really good products from the drug store, but since personally i don't like to search i just bought the clinic set that has all three for acne. it depends on your skin





acne is USUALLY caused by too many oils mixing with the dirt in your skin


oils can be caused by either


A) naturally oily skin, or


B) too much washing and too many products that DRY out your skin, forcing your body to produce MORE oil than it normally would





i found when i exfoliated in the shower, and then applied cocoa butter afterwards, before going to bed, my skin was great! it was soft, and i had no excessive oil because my skin was already moisturized





but if you already have very oily skin naturally, it may make it worse
i've never heard of that, but i know eggs do.





here's the recipe:





1. Get two small bowls.


2. Crack one egg into one bowl.


3. Separate the yolk and put it into the other bowl. Optional: Add a few drops of lemon juice if you have oily skin. It will help eliminate oil. Don't try it if you have dry skin, however, as it will irritate the skin.


4. Spread the egg white around your face in circular upward motions while avoiding the eyes.


5. Wait 15-30 minutes. You want it to 'harden' on your face.


6. Break the egg white off of your face.


7. Spread yolk around face in the same manner as the egg white.


8. Wait 15-30 minutes.


9. Wash the egg yolk off with warm water and pat dry.

i thought it would too untill i heard it was good for the scars and it was bad for the acne.
