My cat has feline acne what should i use to treat it?

Well if it's acne than an antifungal is not going to do anything. Keep his food bowls clean, and if he has a plastic bowl I suggest getting a stainless steel, or ceramic bowl. You can keep his chin clean with mild soap and water solution, or you can go to the store and actually get sensitive/mild stridex pads and use those as well.My cat has feline acne what should i use to treat it?
My cat had the same thing on the sides of his face and by his lips. In his case it was caused my his plastic food and water dishes. If you are using plastic dishes you may want to take them away and replace them with glass or stainless steel. My vet also had me use benzoyl peroxide, which you can get in cremes( look at label of acene meds. for humans) form at Target or any drug store. It would save you a trip to the vet if that is all it is!
Take her too the vet home remedies like that often do not work. She could have a staff infection. My dog got that on her legs and it looked like puss filled pimples. She most likely needs to be put on oral antibiotics.

The humane society has programs that can help you pay for a vet visit and some vets have financing options but is should on cost around 70 -100 dollars in all.
