Can virgin coconut oil treat acne scars/marks?

Don't listen to these other guys. I've been experimenting for years now on what really works and what doesn't. I've been using virgin coconut oil for a few months now, and believe it or not it's made the scars look smaller. Use for at least 3 weeks, then see obvious results. If you still have acne or oily skin, oils aren't the best way to go because they can make things worse. If you want to try oils for scars, there are better ones for this purpose. Try evening primrose oil instead. Vitamin E oil would be even better.





If it seems you're going to have scarring from acne, consulting a dermatologist is a good investment. A dermatologist can tell you what would work best for your skin.

You'd think coconut oil would create acne, not fix it's scars. Try using pure vitamin E or stretch mark cream, they worked fine for me.
