What's the best way to treat acne?

Regular soap can dry up your skin, so preferably use one of those liquid soaps speciallly for acne. Clean and clear worked really well for me when I used it before in my teens when I was more prone to acne breakouts. Unfortunately diet is another important part of it. I always hear lots of water helps keep a nice fresh face. What's the best way to treat acne?
I would say consult a dermatologist. They know a lot about skin. If you have extra oily skin, washing your face morning and night might not be enough. Benzaclin and Tazorac are pretty good perscription drugs. What's the best way to treat acne?
My dermatologist recommended Cetaphil. It's a face soap that you can find at walmart. I've been using it for a few months and can tell a big difference. But you have to be very diligent about using it EVERY morning and night. Hope this helps.
Have a head transplant
Facecloth and soap during what is known as washing!
Pop zits and hope they disappear.
Use an acne wash or an acne creme.
try differin.

it works really good.

trust me, i've had acne for 5 years, and i'm only 14. i've been using differin for 4 months (on and off, don't tell) and my skin is 5 times clearer. it starts clearing up within the first couple of days.

soap %26amp; water is no good, trust me.

and neither is pro-activ.
Get older. Usually it goes away with age.
You can always buy over the counter clothes to clean it or you can always order ProActiv...although its pretty expensive but Proactiv works better. My mom uses it
Personally, I had a very bad problem with acne until I started using the oil cleansing method (OCM) which has really helped with all of my skin problems including enlarged pores. The oils that I use are a ratio of 3:4 castor oil to olive oil because I have oily skin. If you would like to try this link explains how to do it.

well i have bad acne so just rub it wit alcohol nd it will burn it nd they will disappear
I have dealth with acne. The best way is to get a facial done. It helps clean out your pores. You have to apply a few creams though, but it works. The Over-The-Counter products and home remedies did not work for me. Try consulting a dermatologist to find out what type of skin you have.
