Try making these and applying them to the dark spots:

Natural Skin Whitener

Ingredients:

Cucumber Juice

Lime Juice

Tumeric Powder

Procedure: Get one tablespoon of fresh cucumber juice, add few drops of fresh lime juice and add a pinch of tumeric powder. Mix all well until it becomes a good paste. Apply all over face a neck. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. Add more quantity of the ingredients for a bigger application. This remedy helps whiten the skin and it's a great lotion for all skin types. Apply this mixture no more than two times a week.

Natural Bleaching Facial

Fresh Spinach Leaves

Lemon Juice

Procedure: Make a paste from some of the spinach leaves in a blender. Take it all out in a bowl and add one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. Mix it all together and apply evenly on face and neck. Relax and leave on for 20 minutes. Then rinse off with cold water.

mederma is a little expensive but it lasts really long and you can always get it off ebay for a better price...i've been using it since june and the acne scars are on my face seems to be fading...it is no where near where it use to be before the scars...but it is actually getting a bit more faint so i think with anything...you have to give it time...lucky for me i'm not taking summer school so i have time to apply it 3-4 times a day...but it does dry out my face so i use aveeno...i have tried home remedies before like the lemon juice...that really stung me and my face got really itchy so i gave up on that..but if your face isnt as sensitive you should give that a try first...and dont forget sunblock!!

p.s. zinc is supposed to be helpful in aiding with your skin's speed of healing so i've been taking those since may.
You can try an at-home microdermabrasion kit which is available at drugstores. Basically, they use crystals that mechanically peel away or resurface the skin. Big brand names like Neutrogena %26amp; Olay sell microdermabrasion kits although most are a bit pricey. But they are cheaper than salon microdermabrasions.

You can also try using a serum with Vitamin C in it. If all goes well and you bought a really good serum, it can fade your scars.

I have also heard of chemical peeling using trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to fade scars but I'm not too sure about that one.

However, before you go out and buy any products to fade scars, I suggest you do some research of your own on the product. Find reviews and look over the ingredients to make sure it's safe for you~

Of course, there's also laser treatments and etc. but I assume you wanted something you can do at home. Good luck~
apple cider vinegar has worked wonders for my red post-acne marks. I just diluted some apple cider vinegar with a little water and apply it as a toner every night. I have noticed major fading of the marks and I've been doing this for about a month.
