What can I take to treat stress which is causing acne and skin conditions?

I know of someone who always seems to break out when she stresses out over something. What can supplements/medicine can she take to counteract stress, or even better, to help for both stress and the skin problem?What can I take to treat stress which is causing acne and skin conditions?
exercise is good because it releases endorphines which fight stress and also causes sweat which can release toxins. the skin is the bodies second liver...so if your liver isn't functioning properly it will come out your skin...so drink a lot of water too...at least 4 L a day. if that doesn't work...they might be intolerant to certain foods that are causing an immune response. salt and refined sugar can also cause acne in some people...so limit your sodium intake and cut out all refined sugars.What can I take to treat stress which is causing acne and skin conditions?
wash your face everytime you take a shower which is hopefully daily if you take a shower in the morning, before you go to bed scrub your face on a dry wash rag to get the oil off before you sleep and wash your pillow cases weekly and never i repeat never touch or let anyone else touch your face because they have bacteria on their hands because they touched a door handle and then touched your face gross
right go see your local gp and i always have herbal tea and a slice of toast that always calms me down and maby see a mediator or start yoga release the stress within
for stress ask your doctor about lexopro it really work and her face maybe she let her face get to oily or she just so stress out that she not taking good care of her face
shower daily. clean pillow and bed sheets. listen to classical music and light excercise should do it.
talk to ur doctor, u could be prescribed anti depressants for the stress
I don't know of any medications to relieve stress. There are lots of meds for anxiety and depression. Find a way to relieve your stress physically. I go for a long run or a bike ride at the end of every day. That helps relieve stress and tension for me. It also helps to have some immediate stress relievers handy at work. When things get stressful, take a time out. Squeeze a gel stress ball or play a game on the computer. Bubble blowing is a good stress reliever, but it may get you kicked out of the office. Find something that works for you.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!





Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:





1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.





2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.





I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

Take hot baths, try meditation, listen to soothing music to try and relieve stress...





Deep breathing... maybe even hitting a punch bag a few times a week would help...
stress management classes and see her dermatologist for the acne issue, it may also be accelerated due to hormonal changes around the time of her menstrual cycle, her OB/GYN may be able to contribute a solution

Sounds like you know what causes your acne.





Now you just need to find the ';treatment';





You cannot stop stress, it is everywhere we are, in our jobs, our relationships, even our hobbies.(ever try to head a planning committee of some type that has to do with one of your favorites hobbies such as kid's soccer?)





And although you can't stop it, what you can do is change the way you react to it.





THAT is the ';treatment..';





The treatment involves sleeping whatever a good nights sleep is for you, exercising...walking is great...eating more nutritious foods ...loads of water, everyday...quit smoking.





All of these will help you with the stress, because you will be much clearer headed.





And with that, your acne will subside or disappear.





One last thing, which really works for me--I use Mary Kay ';oil blotters'; to get the excess oil off my face and nose. They work great. If you are a guy, they aren't ';makeup,'; they just get rid of the excess oil, which is another way to look better while you are learning to deal with the stress. They are $5 retail for 75 blotters.





I ';get'; stress and how it can cause our bodies(and faces) to go haywire. so I REALLY feel for you.
