Has anyone with a darker skin tone , such as african americans, tried laser surgery to treat acne scarring?

i would consult with a GOOD plastic surgeon about this and get more than one opinion. there are laser methods and resurfacsing . i am not african american, but , i have heard that many people scar differently. i remember a freind I work with having some work done (lift of the busom) and she had it done with really small incisions. the dr performed it a little different than is normally done to minimize the scars / risk of keloid (a harder kind of scar) from forming. she had good results she said / this wasn't a problem. but i do recall her telling me about this as i had never heard of it before. there are so many doctors that aren't really board certified plastic surgeons, and they just want to take money. i'd be very careful to choose a good doctor. there are some good makeups.. dermablend i think it's called that is sold especially for skin that has either had severe burns / scarring etc. http://www.dermablend.com/ check out some of the before / after testimonials http://www.dermablend.com/ShowTestimonia鈥?/a>

this stuff really does work . some of our larger department stores carry it . they give a free demonstration of the product / no obligation to buy it. it covers well.

take care and happpy holidays.
